The Copenhagen Sprint bicycle run affects taxi rides
Copenhagen Sprint is held over two days:
- On Saturday 21 June 2025 the women will race
- On Sunday 22 June 2025 the men will run
Several roads will be blocked making it difficult for our chauffeurs to get around in the affected area.
The route starts in Roskilde at the Viking Museum and goes north to Frederikssund, through Hillerød at Frederiksborg Castle and past Fredensborg out to Louisiana at Humlebæk and then down past Furesøen through Ballerup. So the route comes into Copenhagen from the west and the finish line is at the National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen
The roads on the route and the side roads leading up to the route will be closed approx. 60 minutes before the peloton arrives. Traffic will be opened immediately after the peloton and the support cars have passed.
In Copenhagen, traffic will be extra affected as a circular route is closed from Saturday morning to Sunday evening.

The organizers of Copenhagen Sprint advise against all unnecessary driving within and across the area of the route. This also include taxi rides, but we will do our best to serve our customers. So, if you need a taxi ride along the route, please take into account that longer travel time may occur.
We recommend you reserve extra time to the ride itself, and that you book a taxi ahead of time.
Due to the uncertain traffic circumstances, it will not be possible to pre-book, and it will not be possible to ride with a fixed price. All rides are carried out on meter rates.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
