The Copenhagen Sprint bicycle run affects taxi rides Saturday & Sunday
Copenhagen Sprint is held over two days:
- Saturday 12 June the women will race
- Sunday 13 June the men will race
Several roads will be blocked making it difficult for our chauffeurs to get around in the affected area.
The route starts in Roskilde, heads north to Frederikssund, onward through Hillerød, past Fredensborg to Humlebæk and then down through Ballerup. So the route enters into Copenhagen from the west via Vigerslev Allé.
In Copenhagen
Traffic will be extra affected as a circular route is closed from Saturday morning 6AM to Sunday evening 10PM.

Taxi rides will be affected
The organizers of Copenhagen Sprint advise against all unnecessary driving within and across the area of the route. This also include taxi rides, but we will do our best to serve our customers. So, if you need a taxi ride along the route, please take into account that longer travel time may occur.
We recommend you reserve extra time to the ride.
Please note: On Saturday and Sunday in Copenhagen in the affected areas of the route:
- Pre-booking is not possible
- App bookings are not possible
- Fixed price rides are not possible. All rides are carried out on meter rates
