Taxi rides during the Coronation in Copenhagen

The coronation affects the traffic surrounding Kgs. Nytorv and Christiansborg as several roads is blocked.

This may affect your taxi ride in different ways.

Please be aware of the following when you plan your ride in Copenhagen:

1. Limitations to bookings via the taxi app:
   On Sunday January 14th from mid-day to 5:15 pm you will not be able to book via the taxi app from within the area surrounding Kgs. Nytorv and Christiansborg. Instead, please place your booking by phone +45 35 35 35 35.
   
   
2. The fixed price option:
   Until Sunday January 14th 8pm it will not be possible to book rides with a fixed price in the streets surrounding Kgs. Nytorv and Christiansborg. This means you may only book rides by meter rates.
   
   
3. Alternative routes:
   Due to blocked roads the driver has to find alternative routes. This may potentially affect the length, duration and price of your ride.
   
   
4. Pickup and destination addresses inside a blocked area:
   If your pickup or destination address is located inside a blocked area, the taxi will not be able to drive to the address. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Instead, we recommend you choose pickup and destination addresses outside any blocked area when booking.
   
   
5. Fixed price rides with routes going through blocked areas:
   If you book a ride with a fixed price and the route is going through a blocked area, the driver will be forced to choose another route. This will affect the original fixed price you were presented initially. Please be aware that extra time or length may influence fixed prices.
